You may not use these websites for any commercial purpose. 

Online Shopping

We have taken great care in presenting the products on our website as accurately as possible. However, the images you see will depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities. We are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images you see are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise. Before you place an order you should read the following: Acceptance of your order, Delivery Information and Returns Policy. These pages form part of these terms and conditions and contain important information about your order.

By submitting an order to us through our website, you represent and warrant that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct, and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full. If the Billing details for your order are the same as your Delivery address details, by placing an order on the website you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Delivery address details. Otherwise, by placing an order, you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing details.

Visitors under the age of 18 should not register with this website or submit any information to us.

Acceptance of your Order

Shortly after you have placed an order with us, an email will be sent to you from The Green Welly Stop acknowledging the exact details of your order. This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from The Green Welly Stop. Upon payment to Worldpay, Worldpay will send you an email confirming payment of your order.

Order acceptance and the completion of the sale between you and The Green Welly Stop will take place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation instructions set out below.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

  • The product you ordered being out of stock - see Product Availability
  • Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
  • The identification of a pricing or product description error
  • Failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions

Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order please contact The Green Welly Stop by:

  • calling +44 (0) 1301 702089 9am to 5pm seven days a week.
It may not always be possible to stop an order from being dispatched, as we endeavour to process orders immediately. If your order has already been dispatched please return the order following the instructions contained within the parcel. Please note that your right to return goods does not apply to certain products. Further details are set out in our Returns Policy.

Where your order is returned to us within 7 working days of your delivery, the cost of your order and your original postage charge will be reimbursed in full.

Pricing Policy

All prices shown on the website are in £Sterling and are inclusive of VAT, where applicable. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.

The Green Welly Stop endeavours to ensure that all merchandise offered on the website is available at the same price in the Tyndrum store. However, from time to time we may offer additional discounts for purchases online from The Green Welly Stop that do not apply in the Tyndrum Store. Additionally, items offered as "bulk buys" on this website (or instore) may not be offered as a "bulk buy" within the store (or Website) and vice versa.

Product Availability / Information

We feature products on our website that have been carefully selected for Online Shopping. Once an item is sold out it will be listed as "Out of Stock" on the website at the earliest opportunity the item may not be available again. Prices of products may change from time to time. If items that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay or the price is higher than that shown on your order, we will try to contact you at the email address you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you or receive no response to our email, we will continue to process the remaining items on your order. All items are subject to availability. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, it is necessary to substitute an item, the item will be of equal or greater value than that which it replaces.  Substitutions will only be made with your prior consent.

Delivery Information

Billing Address Policy:

For the security of ourselves, and also our customers, we only ship debut/first orders to the registered billing address of the cardholder who made the purchase. This is to avoid fraudulent use of credit/debit cards which affects the online retail industry and is a commonplace policy for all major retailers. Once this order has been fully completed and delivered we can ship any future orders to alternative addresses when required (this is normally a 2 week period).

If it is imperative for the item to be sent to an alternative address please complete the order as normal providing both the billing and delivery addresses along with as much information as possible in the comments box provided. BUT Please be aware that shipping to an alternate address WILL lead to a delay in despatching your order whilst we speak to you verbally.

If you DO place your debut order, and you have requested that it is delivered to an alternative address, we will attempt to call you / email you, if we don't get a response within 24 hours, we will cancel your order without any further notification.

UK Mainland Delivery

We endeavour to deliver within 6 working days of your order being placed unless alternative dates are stated in the product description; this is subject to goods being in stock.

If the cost of your order is under £30.00 the normal delivery to UK Mainland is 99p by 1st or 2nd Class Royal Mail, over £30.00 and your postage is Free.

We sincerely hope that the delivery will be much quicker than 6 days, but this is the guaranteed period from Royal Mail.

Due to unprecedented demand we are unable to guarantee delivery earlier than this time frame.

We do not accept Next Day deliveries at this time..

Wellingtons over £100.00 or any Hamper will be delivered by Parcel Force

The Green Welly Stop will endeavour to use recycled packaging at all times, by making use of the huge amount of cardboard that we get our many deliveries in! We would like to think that we are doing a little something to help with our all-important environment, so if your whisky arrives in a weird shaped parcel, this might explain it!


Import Duty

The Green Welly Stop cannot be held responsible should local customs authorities wish to confiscate any particular item contained within the order, or charge any import duty. The recipient is responsible for paying the duty.

General Information

Please note that for photographic purposes, any additional items in the photograph, such as glasses, plates and such like WILL NOT be sold as part of the sale, unless it states within the product description

Packaging may vary to that displayed.

Alcohol may only be sold to persons 18 years or older & is not available for shipping outwith the UK, please see our main whisky shop for more info on countries we deliver..

All orders will be confirmed by email only. Should you not receive confirmation within 48 hours, please contact our Outdoor Store on 01301 702089. If sending a copy of an order by fax or email, please quote your order number.

Please note that all information on the website, including prices, availability of any promotions, goods or services is correct at time of going online (November 2008). We will make every effort to maintain prices shown online, however, prices may fluctuate depending on circumstances beyond our control and other factors. Please note that any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of ordering. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Large / Bulky Goods / Special Order

Large and bulky goods are subject to additional carriage charges and delivery times may vary. Individual rates and delivery times will be included in the product information for each individual item.

Returns Policy

Returns extended until 31st January for all purchases in the month of December

This Policy is for goods purchased on The Green Welly Stop website.

Unwanted goods may be returned for a refund or exchange provided they are returned in their original condition, unused and unopened within 14 days of delivery with the Returns Details included within your order.

Except in relation to incorrectly supplied goods where your statutory rights are unaffected.

For all our products the original manufacturers' packaging is part of the goods sold to you, so please retain it for at least 28 days in case you wish to return them for any reason. Although your statutory rights as a consumer will not be affected, the goods are second hand without the packaging and we may not therefore be able to exchange them voluntarily.

On receipt of the returned goods we will give you a refund of the amount paid for the goods.
If you notify us of your intention to cancel your order within 7 working days of delivery (or prior to delivery) then the original delivery charge will be reimbursed in full (only if the FULL order is returned) - otherwise we do not refund the original delivery charge unless the goods have been incorrectly supplied.
Where a product is sent outwith the EU, we are unable to offer exchanges of our products and will not reimburse postage costs unless item sent is in error.

For hygiene reasons certain items, underwear cannot be returned if unwrapped or worn - unless faulty.
Perishable items such as food cannot be returned unless found to be faulty.

Refunds will be in £Sterling.

When returning products which you have received a discount or special offer on, the refund will be adjusted accordingly. Additionally any free promotional gift issued with an order must also be returned if you are returning those goods.

Can I Change or Cancel my Order?

We will make every endeavour to cancel your order if has not already been dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched please follow our standard returns procedure, the instructions will be contained within the parcel.

You cannot change the order after you have completed the order process.

How can I cancel my order

  • If your item is outdoor based (ie outdoor clothing) - please phone the Outdoor Store on 01301 702089 between 9.00am to 5.00pm seven days a week.
  • If your item is not outdoor based, (ie gifts, presents) - please phone the Goodies & Gifts store on 01301 702085 between 9.00am to 5.00pm seven days a week.
  • If your item is Alcohol, - please phone our Whisky Galore store on 01301 702084 between 10.00am to 5.00pm seven days a week.
  • If you do happen to phone the incorrect team, we are all located in the same building, so they will be able to direct you to the right person.

How to Return or Exchange

  • Fill out the Returns Form which can be downloaded and printed from here, noting whether you would like a refund or an exchange of your goods.
  • Use the Delivery Address below and attach it to the front of the original packaging. Package the items to prevent damage, enclosing the Returns Form. Goods should be sent to the following address:

  • We strongly recommend that you use registered post, recorded delivery or another secure method of delivery, retaining the receipt until you have received credit for your return (if eligible). We regret that we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods.
  • We do not reimburse the postal charges of returning an item unless that item is being returned because has been sent to you in error/faulty.
  • The goods must be returned in full, unused and unopened, in their original undamaged packaging. We will consider the condition of the goods being returned when making a refund.
  • You must return the item to us on cancellation in order to receive a full refund or exchange. If you notify us of your intention to cancel the order but do not return the goods to us we reserve the right to deduct the cost incurred by us in recovering the goods, from any refund you are owed.

Sale Goods:

Sale items or special purchases bought in The Green Welly Stop website may be returned for exchange only if returned in their original condition with proof of purchase, during the same Sale period or within 14 days of purchase (whichever is earlier).
